It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne 'Whitey' Gibson at Kelowna General Hospital with his family by his side on November 21, 2021, at the age of 72 years.
He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Lynda, daughter Natasha (Wyman), grandchildren Payton and Teagan, son Clint (Melissa), grandchildren Tavin and Jazlyn, brothers Donald, Doug, David, and sister Linda, as well as many nieces and nephews. Wayne was sadly predeceased by his parents George and Ethel Gibson.
Whitey was an avid fisherman all his life and would never come home without a fish! He would go hunting every year, and this year was no exception. He was very patient at passing on his knowledge to his grandchildren who will miss him very dearly for that, along with just always being here for all of us!
The family is planning a celebration of Wayne's life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
