Todd Eugene Driscoll

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Driscoll after a traumatic fall which resulted into further health complications.

Todd leaves behind his daughter, Dawn (Mason); grandson Maxon; mother Yvonne; two sisters, Lisa and Andrea. He was predeceased by his father, Leonard. Todd will also be dearly missed by his loving aunts, uncles and many cousins from both sides of his large family. Also left to grieve is his close companion.

Todd was born in Edmonton, Alberta and moved with his family to British Columbia in the 70’s calling the quaint town of Peachland his home for most of his life.  He graduated from George Pringle Secondary and had a passion for mechanics, restoring vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles.  His first vehicle was a 52 Mercury truck that his dad helped him refurbish.  Todd was experienced in many aspects of construction and also in cooking as he completed the chef's course at Okanagan College.

Working over the years for the Sutherland family, Todd enjoyed overseeing the process of harvesting the huge crop of cherries for export. The family would like to thank Betty Sutherland for her kindness and friendship for over 25 years to him.

Todd had a great artistic imagination, enjoyed music, often playing his guitar and harmonica.  He lived how he wanted to, not always conventional, but he was a free spirit as his family and friends will attest to.  He had an open-door policy and had a great list of friends that made him smile. Although Todd loved to portray a tough guy image, he helped many and had a big heart.

In memory of Todd, perhaps do an unexpected random act of kindness in his name. He would have liked that.

The family wishes to eternally thank Kerry M as well as the doctors and nurses at Kelowna General Hospital for their valiant efforts.

A Celebration of Life will be planned by the family at a later date.
