It is with great sadness that the family announces Therese’s passing at Orchard Haven Retirement Home in Keremeos, BC on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the age of 74 years.

Therese was daughter to the late Gaston and Eva Cloutier (Brousseau) and the cherished wife of the late Andre Toupin. Also predeceased by Andre (Johane) and Gilles.

She was loving mother to Eric Poirier (Chantal); beloved grandmother to Jared, Adam and Ocean; survived by her lovely brother, Claude (Lise) and cherished by 3 nieces and 1 nephew, cousins and many great friends.

The family very much appreciated the loving care from the staff at the Orchard Haven Retirement Home. They went above and beyond when it came to Therese, and we thank them very much for their continued love and support.

Therese always had a smile on her face and a very positive outlook on life, even while she was fighting her life-ending illness. She also had a soft spot in her heart for animals especially cats. As per Therese’s request there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Fille de feu Gaston et feu Eva (née Brousseau) Cloutier. Chère épouse de feu André Toupin. Mère aimante d’Éric Poirier (Chantal). Grand-mère bien aimée de Jared, Adam et Ocean. Survécu par son frère Claude (Lise). Précédée par ses frères André (Johane) et Gilles. Elle sera également regrettée par 3 nièces, 1 neveu, cousins, cousines et plusieurs amis.

La famille désire remercier le personnel d’Ochard Haven maison de retraite pour les soins et le support que Therese a reçus. Nous sommes éternellement reconnaissants de votre dévouement. Ont tiens a les remercier pour tous l’amour et le support.

Thérèse avait toujours un sourire à son visage et elle avait la joie de vivre. Elle aimait beaucoup rire et elle avait un gros amour envers les animaux, spécialement les chats. Conformément à ses souhaits, il n’y aurait pas de visites ou de services funérailles.
