Shirley Lois Bellingham

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma on January 28, 2023, at the Kelowna General Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents Wanda and Herman Sellers, sisters Linda Bower (1996), Yula Romanko (2011) her loving husband Bill (2018) daughter Elaine (2006) and son Jeff (2012). She is survived by her son Brian (Ann-Marie), grandchildren Jason (Adriana), Jamie (Ami), Jessica Hamill (Jay), Shawn (Kara), Shannon, Ben (Shauna) and Kristina; plus her 11 Great-Grand Children.  

Shirley was born in Calgary June 16, 1934. She married the love of her life, Bill, in 1951. They resided in Calgary where they raised their 3 children. Their favourite pastime was getting away from it all and camping. Shirley worked as a Clerical Supervisor for AGT till her retirement. They moved to Elmsworth (Beaverlodge) Alberta so Bill could try his hand at hobby farming. Then they set up home at Blind Bay, BC to enjoy the outdoors. They finally moved to West Kelowna to be closer to their grandsons.

Shirley and Bill made the best of everything they worked so hard for, and hopefully have found each other again. Shirley will be greatly missed by us all.
