Ronald Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Smith at home following a brief illness.

Ron will be fondly remembered by his loving wife of 54 years, Dorothy; son, Dave (Leah) and their children, Mackenzie and Montana; son, Gary (Rhonda) and their children, Andrea and Brooklyn; brother Dave (Pierrette) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Bob, Ed and Don.

Ron spent most of his life in Richmond, BC. He worked for Celtic Shipyards, then BC Forest Service Marine Depot and from there went to Green Timbers in Surrey. Ron and Dorothy retired to Keremeos, BC and he contributed much of his time to the K-CSA Sportsmen Club.
