Robert Fiddler

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Robert Fiddler, of West Kelowna, British Columbia, on Sunday, July 31, 2022.

He is survived by his beloved wife Marie; his children: Barbie Fiddler, Audrey Tamaki, Earl “Jim” (Leiha) Fiddler, Shirley (Mark) Cresswell, and Lesley (Randy) Hatanaka; his grandchildren: Sean (Sarah) Tamaki, Tracy (Jamie) Fairweather, Lisa Haydar Amelia Fiddler, Jared (Yeon) Fiddler, Ryan Hatanaka, and Eric Hatanaka. He will also be remembered by his mother Elmire Fiddler; siblings: Raymond (Janette), Dora (Donny) Kirby, Gladys (Wilfred) Whittles, Grace (Arthur) Kayfish, Donna (Keith) Fehr, Carol Fiddler, Joyce Fehr (Randy), and Lloyd (Elle). 

Robert was pre-deceased by his father Harris Fiddler; his sisters: Doris Nelson and Karen Blunt and his son Kelly.

Robert was born September 28th, 1938, in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, and was the eldest of 11 children. He and Marie were married in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, on October 17th, 1958.

Dad enjoyed camping, bluegrass festivals, fishing, and playing guitar. He also enjoyed going on long-distance drives for work and play as well.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Special Olympics.
