It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Paul at the Kelowna Hospice House at the age of 67. Paul enjoyed the outdoors and living in Kelowna, BC, with the mountains, streams, and fresh air. He was a skilled woodworker and carpenter who learned from his grandfather Hannu. He had a quick and witty sense of humour.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Sara Corriveau (nee Chevalier); and grandchildren, Carson and Olliver; his sisters Jane Stringer, Janet Cumming (Robin), Karen Osipenko (Guy), Chistine-Tina Saari (Will); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Jacques (1986) and mother Irja (1988).
He will be missed by his family and friends. He is in the loving arms of those who have gone before him, and at peace.
As Paul wished, cremation has taken place. Donations to the Kelowna Hospice House will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
