Mervin Nelson Obituary

The family of Mervin Nelson of Keremeos, BC is saddened to announce his passing at the age of 88 years.

Merv will be remembered and sadly missed by his daughters, Kelly (Patrick) Brunton of Keremeos, BC and Marcy Nelson of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Caroline and Derek.

Merv spent his life doing what he loved – working on the racetrack, ranching, breeding award-winning throroughbred race horses and team roping. He loved to play the guitar and sing the old country songs. He always had his dog by his side. Merv is no doubt riding a range that remains at 30 degrees constantly with a horse that never throws a shoe and a fence that stays up.
