Mary Strumecki

Mary passed peacefully on her journey to join Charlie and other family & friends ~ early Monday morning, January 17, 2022 at Westview Place in Penticton, BC. She will be lovingly missed by her son, Elmer and daughter, Cassie (Rob); three granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Fred (Rita); sisters Sophie & Olga; and many nieces & nephews.

Although a little lady, she was strong and independent - living in her own home and still driving her car until almost 95.  She was very social, a great cook, and super competitive at cards & sports.  She will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank Dr. R. Tatham and Westview Place for the exceptional care of Mary. Their kindness, dedication and compassion meant the world to Mary and her family.

Her Funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. located at St. Ann’s Church in Penticton. A private inurnment took place at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church Columbarium following the Funeral Mass. Sadly, no reception after the service.
