Mary Evelyn Carey

Born in Summerland November 1,1940 passed away in her home Sunday September 11th. She was a very independent strong women.

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Annie Carey, Brothers Frank, Lorne, Arthur Carey and Sister Irene Moffatt and her oldest son Arthur Jones.

Leaving behind Daughter Stephanie Illig, son-in-law Mike Granddaughter Kesha. Son Darryl Jones, daughter in-law Debbie, grandchildren Amanda and spouse Paul McPhail Justin Jones and Latisa. Great grandchildren Penelope and Eli McPhail. Daughter in-law Claire and granddaughter Maggie Jones.

Many family and friends are saddened by the void in their lives she has left.

A memorial will be held October 29th, 2022. Time 2pm High Tea to follow.

Cremation, Private family graveside urn internment November 1, 2022 at Peach Orchard Cemetery Carey family plot.
