Marilyn was born in Vancouver, BC, where she and her siblings had many adventures growing up. She met and married her childhood sweetheart, Jim Ferguson, also of Vancouver, BC. The Ferguson home was always bustling with family and friends, full of love and laughter. Marilyn was an amazing cook and was devoted to her family. Their door was always open to those in need.
After the children were older, Marilyn ventured back into the workforce where she met and made friendships that would last a lifetime. Helen States and Marilyn, remained very good friends until Helen passed away in 2018. The two families were always close, and together, they made many cherished memories.
