Marilou Lawrence Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilou Carol Lawrence. Marilou was born in Port Arthur, Ontario on September 13, 1937, to William and Elma Opie, and left this earth on June 11, 2021, at the age of 83 years.

Marilou was predeceased by her husband Clark Cryderman. She will be remembered and sadly missed by her son William Lawrence, her granddaughters; Laila and Roya Lawrence Massoudi and her grandson Brooks Dore.

Marilou was tenacious and had a kind and generous spirit looking after disadvantaged individuals as well as hosting an emergency shelter for the Humane Society for distressed animals. She was a talented Gardiner and a frequent volunteer reader at the elementary school. Marilou had a grand sense of humour and always had a vision for the bright side with her positive attitude.

“Don’t cry for me, I’m not gone. My soul is at rest, my heart lives on. Light a candle for me to see, and hold on to my memory, but save your tears for I’m still here by your side through the years.”
