Margaret Georgina (McMillan) Bickerton

It is with great sadness the family of Margaret Bickerton announce her passing on February 14, 2024, at the age of 94 years. She was born and grew up in Springhill, NS, and after graduating college, Margaret became a teacher. Her career was a long and happy journey, loving every minute of it.

She moved with her family to Thompson, MB, after the Springhill mining disasters and continued teaching young children. After retiring, Margaret and Maynard settled in Peachland. Margaret then moved to reside in West Kelowna after Maynard passed away in 2011.

Margaret is predeceased by her husband Maynard, brother Hugh and infant brother Lloyd.

Left to mourn are her two daughters, Mary and Valarie.
