Lorna Conelley Obituary

Lorna Anna Conelley (nee Klausman) passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023, at the age of 94 years.

She will be remembered and sadly missed by her children, Robert (Fern) Conelley of Lake Country BC, Allison (Dale) Anaka of Ladner BC, and David (Donna) Conelley of Royston BC; her four grandchildren, Nicole Anaka, Lauren (Luca) Sbisa, Matthew Conelley, and Steven (Tara) Conelley. She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm Conelley; sisters Margaret Mohr, Irene Belinski, Nellie Swift, and Audrey Linn.

Lorna will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and twinkle in her eyes. She loved to talk about the “Good Old Days” and her figure skating as a child. She enjoyed music and Happy Hour provided by the Manor and Lodge.

Her favourite saying in the end was: “I am a Vernon girl, and you must be my friend from Vernon!”

The family would like to thank all the staff of the Lake Country Manor and Lodge. Your love, kindness and patience was greatly appreciated throughout her 7 years of residency there.
