Laine Snaychuk, also known as Lainer to his friends, came into this world on August 21, 2001, in Edmonton, AB. He lived his first years with his parents in Vegreville, AB. In mid 2007, Laine, with his mother Adrianne, moved to Prince George, BC. Laine attended Beaverly Elementary school, then the Montessori School. In 2011 with his mom and grandparents, Connie and Frane, Laine moved to Victoria, BC, where he attended Glanford Middle School. It is then he became interested in band and played the clarinet and bass clarinet. It's also where he first caught the dirt bike bug. He spent many happy hours at the track in Langford. While attending Spectrum Community school he excelled in band. His instruments of choice were the tuba and euphonium. He participated in many competitions and parades. He enjoyed playing in Market Square at the all tuba Christmas Concert.
In 2017 the family relocated to the beautiful Similkameen Valley settling in wild Olalla. Laine finished high school at Similkameen Elementary Secondary School graduating in June 2020. Laine spent a bit of time practicing with the Penticton Orchestra Band before giving in to his love of dirt biking and backroad exploring in his '94 Splash.
In 2023 Laine bought himself a Yamaha YZ250 and continued to enjoy countless hours exploring the vast network of trails and backroads in this area.
Laine had a few different jobs, golf course labourer, sheet metal ducting installer, roofer, RV technician’s assistant before starting with Integra Tire in fall 2024. He started his apprenticeship as an Automotive Service Technician there and was expecting to continue when he was hired by Larsens' Trail Tire Auto Centre.
Recently Laine visited the Island, reconnecting with dear friends in his new to him 2023 Chevy Malibu.
