Kathie Harrison

Kathie Harrison, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away September 24, 2023, at the age of 79. She is predeceased by her parents, Eunice and Roy Bauserman, and younger sister, Roiann. Kathie is survived by her loving husband Bob, son Jeff (Adrienne), daughters Tracey and Kirsten, granddaughters Madeline and Kellie, and sisters Julie and Sally.

Kathie was born in Portland, Oregon, and it was at Oregon State University where she met Bob. In 1964, Kathie and Bob married and made their home on Vancouver Island. In 1973, the family relocated and established roots in Kelowna, BC.

Kathie was active in the tennis community, competing both locally and across the province. Kathie was also a member of Gallagher's Canyon Golf Club, where she enjoyed countless rounds of golf with friends and family over the years.

Kathie and Bob shared a love for RV travel. They traveled extensively exploring new landscapes, cities and sites together while creating lasting memories along the way. Kathie also had a love for the ocean, enjoying time with family along the Oregon Coast with the islands of Hawaii being one of her favourite places to visit. 

Kathie's presence in the lives of her family and friends will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association or the BC Cancer Agency in Kathie's memory.

In accordance with Kathie's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.
