Joseph Frigon (77), known to friends and family as “Larry,” passed away at home, December 12th, surrounded by love and guided by the full moon.
Larry was born July 19, 1942 in Westlock, Alberta to Bernadette (Garon) Frigon and Jean Napoleon Frigon. Larry was raised in Pickardville, AB, where he spent the first 36 years of his life growing up, getting married and starting his own family. In 1978 Larry and his family moved to Malaysia where he spent the next 7 years working and living in Asia. After moving back to Canada in 1985 and settling in the Okanagan, Larry continued to work all over the world until his retirement in 2011.
Larry provided his family with a colorful life of love, opportunities and experiences. His hard work, unconditional support and devotion to his family will never be forgotten.
Larry impacted the lives of so many more than just his family. He will be dearly missed and remembered by friends and family alike.
He will forever remain in the hearts of his wife of 51 years, sister, 5 children and their partners, 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and Jasper (his cat).
His family is positive there will be a large welcome party of family and friends waiting for him on the other side –hope they are ready for those Frigon discussions.
A funeral service will be held Friday, December 20 at 11am, at Our Lady of Lourdes, 2547 Hebert Rd., West Kelowna followed by a reception at his daughter’s house in West Kelowna.
