Johanne (Morrison) Kvamme

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Johanne Isabella Beatrice (Morrison) Kvamme on June 4, 2022.

Johanne is predeceased by her loving husband Ingvald Bernard (Bernie) and survived by her daughter Shelley Kvamme MacDonald (Bob) and granddaughters Bethany and Cassandra; daughter Trudy Benson (Brian) and grandchildren Cassidy and Evan; daughter Melissa Radomske (Jarret) and grandsons Rasmus and Magnus; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Johanne was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario on August 7, 1940. She lived in many places in Ontario and Manitoba before training as a nurse in Winnipeg (1958-1961). This is where she met her husband Bernie, whom she married on May 30, 1964. They have lived in BC since 1967. Over the years she enjoyed her role as a nurse, singing, bowling, reading, travelling, and researching genealogy. She loved spending time with her family and volunteered with Guiding while her daughters were involved. As the family business grew, Johanne became a stay-at-home mother who assisted Bernie with the business.

She will be missed deeply.
