Born in The Hague, Netherlands. August 13, 1952 – July 19, 2024.


Johanna went to be with her Lord peacefully on July 19, 2024, at the age of 71. She was a loving and devoted wife to her late Husband of 40 years, Gerald Wilfred Koebernick (2023); loving Mother to her daughter, Alonia (Bradley) Milligan of Red Deer, Alberta; proud Oma (Grandma K) to Katie (Rylan) Silljer of Sylvan Lake, Alberta and Justin (Haily) Mainville of Red Deer, Alberta; and Great Grandma to Rowan Silljer.


Johanna was predeceased by her parents, Rev. Janwillem (Bill) Vandenberg (2012) and Hendrika (Rita) Vandenberg (2022), brother Bill Vandenberg (2023) and brother-in-law, Ed Hendriks (2024).


Johanna is survived by her twin sister, Corrie Hendriks of Surrey, British Columbia, and youngest brother, John Vandenberg of Ontario, as well as nieces and nephews, stepchildren and other relatives.


Our Blue Angel, Johanna was laid to rest with her Husband, Gerald at Gellatly Heritage Cemetery, West Kelowna, British Columbia on August 11, 2024.
