Jean Elizabeth (Hay) Leier

The family of Jean Leier of Westbank, BC, is saddened to announce her passing at the age of 94 years. She passed away with her family by her side on September 19, 2024.

Jean will be remembered and sadly missed by her children, Allan (Margaret) Leier, Sandra (Mike) Larke and daughter-in-law, Terra Leier; grandchildren, Jenna Larke, Jay Leier and Bowen (Alyssa) Leier; great-grandchildren, Olivia Leier and William Leier.

She is sadly predeceased by her husband, Edward Leier and son, David William Leier.

Jean was born in Kamloops, BC. She moved to Vancouver where she met and married Eddie. They raised their kids there and enjoyed many years with extended family including many memorable camping vacations.

They eventually retired and moved to Westbank in the Okanagan. They loved all their new friends and all the social activities at their home in Sun Village. Jean spent her last few years at Westwood and was grateful for all her new friendships there.

Jean’s love of life and people touched the lives of all who knew her. She was well-loved for her sense of humour, generous spirit, compassion and thoughtfulness.
