My much loved life partner went to be with his son, Jerry, in a kinder, gentler place.

A loving husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa, Jim was the rock that held our family grounded together. He was kind, gentle, and very funny.

A proud member of A.A. for almost 40 years, Jim was very grateful to the program for giving him his life and family back. The many members that Jim helped mentor over the years will be forever thankful to him.

Survived by his wife, Rin; daughter, Jodi Rolke (Richie); grandchildren, Daniel, Caitlin, Robyn, and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Cora-Lee and James; brother, David (Lois); sister-in-law, Brenda (Rick); and a multitude of extended family and friends. Pre-deceased by his parents, Jack and Anne; son, Jerry; and grandson, Nicholas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Hansons Arbour Westwood Chapel, 2541 Churchill Road, West Kelowna, BC V4T 2B4.

A private family interment will take place in Gellatly Heritage Cemetery in West Kelowna.
