Frank Julius Bordas

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing away of Frank Julius Bordas. Frank passed away peacefully on November 21, 2022 at the age of 81. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

His love and concern for people touched the lives of all who knew him. He was known for his sense of humour and the ability to lift people's spirits when they were feeling down. He will be remembered for his love of cars and music. He enjoyed backyard barbeques and road trips to the US with his wife, Olga. He spent 27 years of his life as an estimator for ICBC Kelowna.

Most of all, he will be remembered for the love that he had for his great God, Jehovah. Even when he lost his sight and part of his memory due to a stroke, he was still able to remember Bible scriptures word for word. His faith remained strong. This no doubt gave him comfort through his final years.

He will be remembered and missed by his son, Derrick (Geri); his grandson, Zakk; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Sadly, he was predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years, Olga in 2018; his grandson, Jake in 2019, and his brother, Bob in 2013.

There will be no Memorial Service at this time.
