Elaine Fry Obituary

Elaine Betty Fry
1956 - 2020

It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Elaine Betty Fry. Loving wife, mother, daughter and Gramma, passed away peacefully at home in West Kelowna, BC on February 16, 2020 at the age of 63 with her husband and one sister by her side.

Elaine was born in Winchester, ON to parents; Merle and Betty Casselman. In the early 70’s she moved from Morrisburg, ON to BC. She was always creative and go-giving; she joined Mary Kay in 1983 and became a Director in 1986. She did very well, made the Top 10 in Canada for many years, drove a signature Mary Kay pink Cadillac and earned many all expense paid trips to numerous locations around the world. Elaine was loved and respected by so many in her Mary Kay world, for her energy, enthusiasm, training and leadership over the years.

Elaine married James ‘Jim’ Fry in 1982. Jim is very proud and feels so blessed to have shared in Elaine’s journey. She was loved by so many and loved so many; especially her daughter Lisa and her family.  'Gramma Days' were exceptionally special to Elaine and her grandchildren. She maintained her positive attitude and determination to beat the cancer, right up until the last minute.

She was predeceased by her sister Janet Duval [Georges]. Elaine is survived by and will be missed by her husband Jim, daughter Lisa (Jason) McMurray, grandson Dakota, granddaughter Alina, mother Betty Lind, brother Steve (Cora) Casselman, sisters Nancy Fichtner and Michelle Murphy, Aunt Sandy (Serge) and Uncle Raymond; Candace, Daemon, Carter, Kevin and Mandy,  as well as 5 great nieces and nephews, and countless more family members brought into her life via marriage/s...who she also loved fiercely, and they all felt it.

Elaine will be loved, missed and remembered for ever!
