Edward Thomas Freeman

It is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the passing of our amazing Edward (Ted) Freeman. Father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Dad passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024 at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 14 days.

Edward was born and raised in Penticton, BC on February 28, 1930.  He spent his years in Penticton, Burnaby and finally Kelowna, BC.

Dad was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Edith; siblings, Hector, Fred, Cable, Josephine, Dolly and Doreen and most recently his son, Richard.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Debbie and grandson, Matthew in Kelowna, BC and Diane (Warren) and grandchildren, Aubrey, Jessica and Dustin, and great-grandchildren, Tayler, Sydney, Carter, Olivia and Lincoln and great-great-grandchildren, Blake, Zoe and Joel, all in Regina, SK.

Dad was always busy! His life was filled with good times and adventures, hard times and heartbreaks but forged ahead through it all. Dad was also a patient teacher of many skills; he was a top notch handyman, nothing he couldn’t fix. He especially loved gardening, building and painting, music, cooking a good meal, watching a great movie and was a master at telling jokes and stories. We had a lot of laughs. Dad left us with an amazing sense of humor for which we are grateful.

Dad, you will be missed.  We love you ALWAYS and FOREVER.

It’s not what you leave behind, it’s what you leave in people’s hearts. Our hearts are full.

There will be no funeral, cremation to take place.
