Debra Ann Perry

Debbie passed away peacefully at home, she has gone on to rest forever with the love of her life, Brian, who passed away in August of this year.  Debbie is survived by her mother Carol, sisters Linda, Shannon, and Lisa (Chris), her nieces and nephew, Kristen (Andrew), Jana, Cari, Gregory and Selby (Fahim) and their families.  She also leaves behind Brian’s children Caryn (Mike), Lisa, Mike (Jessie), John and Gina, as well and their families – she was a Gramma to all.

Debbie was born in Vancouver, B.C.  She grew up in Coquitlam, B.C., and moved with her family to Victoria when she entered grade 12.  Debbie was a great athlete and enjoyed basketball and swimming the most.  She moved to Duncan, B.C. after graduating from high school.  It was there that she met her love Brian Warburton.

Debbie and Brian spent many happy fun filled years in Duncan, B.C. before moving to Sooke, hanging out and spending time with his children.  They were very close to Brian’s children and spent many years enjoying life with his children and then the grandchildren that followed.

In 1999, Debbie and Brian moved to Penticton to be close to her family and enjoy the sun.  They enjoyed travelling and spending time with their family and friends.

Debbie will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and thoughtful person with a wonderful sense of humor. Her easy going personality made her a joy to be around and was a comfort to all who knew her. She loved her family more than anything, and those left behind will forever miss her gentle ways.

She is at peace now with Brian, her dad, Bud and her brother –in – law Nat.

She will be in our hearts forever.
