Deborah Joyce Kerr passed away after a valiant effort on November 30, 2023, at the age of 71 years.

She will be remembered and sadly missed by her children, Christopher Oliver (Kayla Brayall) of Calgary AB, Ryan Oliver (Debbie Tran) of Calgary AB, and Chrystal Oliver (Jason Sutherland) of Calgary AB; her granddaughter, Adaline; her brother, Donald Kerr of Thunder Bay ON; and her sister, Dianna Kinnunen (Terry) of Peachland BC. She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Joyce Kerr.

Deborah had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking, and was just a big kid at heart. In her later years, she enjoyed watching food tutorials, the cooking and Hallmark channels, and classic Disney movies.

Over the years as her illness progressed, she was determined and never gave up. Where anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no ‘quit’ in our mom. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.
