It is with great sadness that we say farewell to David Daponte who left us far too soon at the age of 63 after a brief but difficult battle with cancer.

Born in Princeton, BC, Dave was raised in Coalmont before settling in Princeton, where he lived and worked for over 40 years as a dedicated mill worker. He leaves behind his loving family, including his beloved son, Skylar, his mother, Julieta at age 93, and pre-deceased by his father David. He also leaves behind his sister Linda (Darren), nephews Tanner and Zachary, his brother Neil (Tania), nephew, Jordan, and niece, Alexis, his fiancée Julia Wallis, her son Caleb and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday May 23, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 604 Ridgewood Drive, Princeton, BC.
