Cody Thomas Andrew Stang

Our Beautiful son Cody left our family on Thursday February 3rd, 2022. We are heartbroken that he was unable to find his way through life struggles of ADHD and addiction. 

As a family we held onto hope that he would defeat this, but God saw that it was too much and brought him home.

Your battle is now over, and it is time to rest in peace, in the arms of Jesus. 

Cody, you will forever be in our hearts and your warm hugs will never be forgotten.

 Cody was born in Grand Prairie, Alberta, but since the age of 3 months old he resided in West Kelowna, BC. 

He was the son of Daniel and Lili Stang. Sibling to Danielle Stang and Denver (Sara) Stang 

Cody leaves us with a small piece of him in his precious son Conrad Stang

He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephew; Shae, Kingston, Brooklyn & Piper. 

 The three Stang kids were like the musketeers, always getting into mischief. Often Cody being the instigator. His passion in life was motorcycles. Whether it be riding them, working on them, or just being around them.  He always looked forward to the yearly Boogie Bash weekend.

Growing up Cody loved going on yearly hunting trips up north with his family. Having such a large family his life experiences were from going camping to building motorcycles with his dad.

Leaving behind his legacy, his son Conrad Stang. He was recently rebuilding their connection with several phone calls and they bonded while sharing stories while Conrad played with Legos and cars. Conrad is a little Cody, looks and personality.

 He also leaves behind Conrad’s mother Ashley Friesen, who never stopped caring and praying for him.

 Survived by such a loving large family, who always had Cody in their hearts and were always praying for him; His Grandmas Elsie and Viola. His Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins; Andy (Carol), Leslie, Sheldon (Cory), Trisha (Randy), Erwin, Perry (Sandi), Penny (Tomas), Predeceased by Uncle Dave (Sandy), 

Cousins; Nathan (Miranda), Dylan, Joshua, Lawana (Emily and Noah), Jason (Tammy), Libby, Cyan and Brandon, Sara (Vuthy), Danny (Deanne), Bettina (Mark), Mercedes, Jenaya, Jesse, Ethan, Colette, and so many more extended family and cousins.

 He had many friends growing up; Kyle A, Brian K, Conrad M, Jason K, Jason T, and Nikki G, and so many more. He had stayed in touch with them since high school, although everyone went their own ways in life, they were people he could always rely on. As well as Jen B, who he shared a few years with and her girls Nirvana and Delilah who he cared for very much.

 A private memorial for close friends and family will be held later in the spring.
