Claudia Owens Obituary

Claudia Ann Amelia Owens passed away with her family by her side at Kelowna General Hospital on December 17, 2021, at the age of 78 years. Claudia is the eldest daughter of Ernest and Ethel Amundrud, born in Lloydminster hospital on April 2, 1943. She married Robert Frank Owens from Starbuck, Manitoba on March 5, 1966. Robert was killed in an automobile accident on November 18, 1972. Afterward Claudia and her family moved to Westbank in 1973.

She is survived by her four children: Darryl Mark Owens, Dale Randall Owens, Lauren Sheryl Owens, and Kerry Marlene McLuskey. She also leaves behind her four grandchildren: Cameron McLuskey, Liam McLuskey, Aidan McLuskey, Isley Owens as well as her younger sister Liana Marlene Gunn and her family. Claudia is predeceased by her son, Darryl’s twin brother Darren Lee Owens on September 26, 1966, her parents Ernest and Ethel Amundrud, and her brother Brian Orville Amundrud.
