Betty Lloyd Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend Betty May Lloyd on October 7, 2020.

Betty will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sons, Stephen (Bev) and Richard (Shari), grandchildren Dylan, Curtis, AJ (Sarah) Chris (Casper), Carver (Lisa), Chelsea (Brad) and Adam, great grandchildren Sophia, Ronan and Blixa along with three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was sadly predeceased by her husband of 67 years; Albert in 2018 and her son Peter (Lelainia) in April of this year.

She was born Betty May Britten in Vancouver, on May 28, 1929. Betty was a teacher with the Port Coquitlam School District and it was there that she met the love of her life; Albert who was working as a custodian at the time.

In 1993 she and Albert moved to Keremeos where they lived for 25 years.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
