Audrey passed away peacefully in her sleep on 26th of December 2022, at 96 years of age.
She had a great sense of humour and loved a good joke. She was often seen selling poppies in White Rock. Always smiling and happy, she loved a good sing song and being of Scottish descent, she would often treat us to a Scottish ‘ditty’.
In her teenage years, Audrey was a drummer in an all-girls Scottish band called the “Heather Belles”. Audrey worked at Malkins in Vancouver and latterly at Woodwards until she retired.
Her big smile and personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Audrey will be remembered and sadly missed by her cousin Betty Nicholson (Arizona); friends, Frank and Marilyn Bishop, Lynn Graham, and her neighbours at Sunnyside Villas, South Surrey, and White Rock Legion #8. She was predeceased by her parents, Art and Jean West (Vancouver).
