Anna Cornelia Vriends

Anna Cornelia Vriends passed away peacefully on June 13, 2023, at the age of 94 years. She is remembered and sadly missed by her children, Martin Vriends (Joanne) of Summerland, Anna Bartlett (Don) of Keremeos, Cathy Whelpton (Ron) of Keremeos, Tony Vriends (Marija) of Keremeos, and Nancy Danenhower (Fred) of Summerland, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Sadly predeceased by her husband Martin J. Vriends.

Anna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to all. She loved spending time knitting, baking, canning, and outside in the garden. She taught and passed many of these skills to her grandchildren and always enjoyed a game of cards.

A Memorial Mass will be held on June 24, 2023, at 10:00 am, at Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Keremeos, BC.
