Helen was born on the farm near Landis, Saskatchewan on September 25, 1928. She was the 3rd child of John and Mary Fox. When Helen finished school, she went to work at Lashburn, Sk. where she met her first husband, Raymond Van Zandt. They were married at Payton, SK on August 6, 1951. They moved out to British Columbia shortly after their wedding, in search of work. 4 daughters were eventually born to this union. Helen later met and married Ken Kendall on March 27, 1981 Together they took many trips in the summer with their trailer across Canada, and the United States, and in winter with their Ski Doos. Helen worked for many years at Princeton General Hospital, first in the laundry, and then as a cook. She enjoyed the work, and the people she worked with. She was a member of Kinettes Club in the early years. She will be missed by her children and their spouses & families: Donna & (Don) Kizlyk, Fosston, Sk. Jackie Cromarty, Princeton, B.C. Linda & (Bob) Johnson, Brooks, Alberta Kathleen & (Dave) Warburton, Prince George, B.C. 7 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
