Allan Michael Allinson

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Allan Michael Allinson at his home on January 24, 2019, at the age of 72.

Allan is survived and will be missed by his wife of 50 years Norlene Allinson, and his five children, daughters Echo (Darcy), Kareth (Roger), Tanya (Tony), Catherine, and son Mathew. Alan was also the proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren, Calvin, Michael, Kareth, Chyanne, Joshua, Valerie, Dawson, Suthye, Byllie, Cole, Isabella, Shannon, Ava Grace, Wyatt, and great-grandson Trextan. He was predeceased by his sister Katherine DeWeyer who will be welcoming him in heaven with open arms.

Allan had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, boating, hunting, motorbiking and his most recent passion was archery. Allan had a mischievous sense of humor and immense care for others. One of Allan’s biggest passions was making moonshine and making everyone ‘taste’ it. However, his first love was the cabin and his grandkids. He was always the first person to help out and would do anything for anybody and will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Allan’s life will be held on Saturday, Feb.2 at 3:00 PM at Faith’s Door Baptist Church, 3675 Webber Rd, West Kelowna, BC V4T 1E5.
