Stephen Arthur McManus

It’s with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen McManus on March 21, 2019 in West Kelowna, BC. Stephen was born in Kelowna, BC and lived most of his life in Fruitvale and Kelowna.

Stephen was very outgoing and always upbeat and wearing a big smile. He graduated from Mount Boucherie High School in West Kelowna. If you were his friend, you were blessed. Stephen’s biggest loves were Ashley and his dog Leila. He played hockey in Fruitvale but loved all sports. Stephen was very meticulous and loved working with wood and tile.

Stephen had many struggles in his short life, but had turned his life around thanks to his new boss Chris who recognized his talent. Thank you Chris!!

Stephen was predeceased by his Grandfather Don Buchanan, Grandparents; Earl and Betty McManus, and his Sister Jacqueline. He will be lovingly remembered by his Mother Donna, Garth, his brothers; Scott (Connor & Zoey), Lee and Kelly, his Father Art, Connie and Teagan, his Nana Lucy, his Auntie Carol (Keo) Ken, Jason, Miranda, his biological Mother Renae, Jeff, Kylie, Jordan and his Grandmother Linda as well as many extended family and friends.

A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made in Stephen’s memory to the West Kelowna United Church or the Westside Youth Centre.
