Rodney Brian Schenk Obituary

Born in Barrie, Ontario, April 2, 1964, Brian passed away peacefully on June 29, 2019 at the age of 55.

Left to mourn are daughter, Amy (Ben) Tyrrell; grandchildren, Sophie, Hunter, Emily and Ezekiel Tyrrell; mother Lorraine Schenk; sister Lori (Don) Smith, sister in law Kathleen Schenk, as well as his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by grandson Zaiah Tyrrell, father John Schenk and brother John Schenk.

Brian had a heart for his community, helping out daily at the West Kelowna food bank, in the soup kitchen at the West Kelowna United Church, and anytime his family or one of his friends needed a hand, he was always there. He had a kind and generous heart, always giving in any capacity he could, even just to say hello to a passerby to make their day a little brighter. He will be remembered for all of these things and his tenacity for life!
