We are sad to announce the passing of Roderick “Rod” Hesselgrave on June 10, 2019 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 82. Rod was born in Kelowna, BC to Milo and Evelyn Hesselgrave. His father moved the family to Osoyoos when Rod was 10.

Rod was an entrepreneur from an early age. He picked up bottles with a wagon and had a lemonade stand in the summer as a child. He spent 15 years in the Navy, then worked as a stock broker for a few years before finding his niche as a business owner in Heating and Refrigeration. He loved music, especially jazz and blues. He was an avid reader and watcher of politics.

Rod was predeceased by his entire immediate family; Father Milo, Mother Evelyn, Siblings; Wilda and Miles. He will be greatly missed by his best friend and “most favourite person” Linda, Stepson Kevin and Granddaughters; Kristina and Teisha and Teisha’s little boy Brexton (AKA Batman) as well as Abby Kitty.
