Philip Francis Dalgleish

Phil went to the arms of Jesus on December 5, 2019. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and friends. He was thrilled to be part of the Centenarian Club. In those 100 years he lived a very very active life. Always giving to those around him.

Phil was a gifted athlete, he played baseball and football, but he shone at hockey. He was a defenceman, playing for the Portland Eagles for 5 seasons from 1945 – 1950. He was also in the MMHL from 1950 – 1953. He then went on to spend time coaching. He continued this with mentoring the Westside Warriors.

Phil had a heart of service and friendship. In Montreal and Westbank, he dedicated his time to helping with the Food Bank. He would always say his biggest accomplishment was getting his beautiful wife to marry him.

A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00pm Sunday December 22, 2019 at:
