Maria Margarete (Kaser) Jeske

Our family is very sad to announce the passing of Maria Margarete ‘Marg’ Jeske on December 1, 2018 in West Kelowna, BC at the age of 85.

Marg traveled to Canada with her two year son in 1952, to join her husband who had arrived in Canada previously. It took a very brave, strong woman to make that trip. They had three more children and made a good life for themselves in Canada. Marg's husband Ernst died young. A few years later she met Leo, she and Leo were together for 46 years (married for 43 of those years). They had many wonderful adventures leaving him (as well as the children and grandchildren) with many wonderful memories. Marg was a very feisty woman and had quite a sense of humor. She was loved by all who met her. She will be truly missed.

She was predeceased by her Daughter Rita and Daughter-in-law LaVerne. Marg will be missed by her Son Ernst aka Ernie of Keremeos, BC, Daughter Rosemary (Michael) of Prince George, BC, Son Darren (Candy) of West Kelowna, BC, as well as her stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will not be a service, just a simple family gathering.
