Les passed away peacefully at the Smith Creek Senior’s Residence in West Kelowna BC after a lengthy battle with heart-related issues. He is survived by his wife June, son Tony, and daughter-in-law Chrystal. Les immigrated to Canada after leaving Hungary in 1956, eventually settling in London, Ontario. He worked for TW Johnstone Construction, Eaton Automotive, Ford Motor Company, and finally for Kellogg’s where he retired in 1999. In 2000, he and June joined Tony and Chrystal out west where they lived in Prince George BC, Calgary AB, Winnipeg MB, Airdrie AB, and finally in West Kelowna BC. He was a loving husband and father. He will be fondly remembered for his love of sports (boxing, karate, squash, golf) and his strong work ethic.
