Ernest Arnold Hewer

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ernest “Butch” Hewer.  Butch passed away peacefully April 23, in his yard surrounded by his family and his beloved cat, dogs and horses.  So much love, laughter, and memories were shared in the days leading up to his passing.  We are so very grateful to all of our friends and family, who stopped in to say goodbye and give their love and support.  After 15 years of battling cancer, he is finally at peace.  He was the toughest man we knew.  If there is anything we would wish to take from him, it is his strength, his kindness, his dignity and his twisted sense of humour.

You loved us from the beginning and we loved you until your last breath and will forever more.  

Butch was born October 24, 1946 in Surrey.  He is survived by wife Flo, children Bernita (Jay), Yvonne (Gary), Mitchell, Sarah (Jeff,) nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by parents and son Everett.
