Betty passed away peacefully at The Village Of Smith Creek on the evening of April 30,2019.
She has gone to dance among the stars with Dad. Lift up your skirts Mom and let the twinkling diamonds fly, for we are all stardust!
Betty is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Bill) Koch, son Richard Jarema, granddaughter Stephanie Koch, and grandson Ross Koch. She is also survived by her twin sister Theresa Hughes, half sister Laura Ritchie as well as many nieces and nephews. Betty's great grandchildren Torrey, and babies Rhylea and Taylor will miss Grandma J very much. Betty is predeceased by her parents Della & Francis Armstrong, her husband Alexander (Sandy) Jarema, her brother Frank Armstrong and half brother Robert Randall.
Betty worked very hard to make a good life for herself and her family. She loved to garden and grew some beautiful and unusual roses. Her rare black rose was one of her favourites. Mom & Dad were terrific ballroom dancers. They floated around the ballroom like they were dancing on air. Our family would like to thank the staff at The Village of Smith Creek for their wonderful care of Mom, especially in the last year of her life.
Betty requested no service, but if you wish to honour her memory by planting a rose bush and listening to Strauss waltzes, I know she will smile down upon you from the heavens.
Rest in peace Mom. Love you always.
