It is with a sad heart that we acknowledge the untimely death of our son and brother Andrew. After 10 weeks of uncertainty over his sudden disappearance, the news of his passing, while bringing closure, has also solidified the reality of continuing our life without him present. Andrew’s time with us, while much too short, will provide us with memories to last our lifetime. We do want to send a special thank you to the following, who through their actions, brought some sanity to many overwhelming days. To Donna and Griffin Mendel, Dylan and Laura Decker, Al Lalonde, Marlene Lalonde, Lucille and Walter Rybachuk, Jamie and Cory Dobson, Roger and Iris Woods, David and Vicky Balser, and BJ Hill who distributed posters and the many local businesses that allowed us to put up the posters. To Barb McPhee Cytko for maintaining a Facebook group. To Felix Chan our Calgary connection. To Cpl. Jolly, Cst’s Kennedy, Boyle, and Philion of West Kelowna RCMP, and Cst. Clark RCMP media relations officer, Robert Braun and all the SAR volunteers and Fionna of Victim Servises. To WFN Elder “Grouse” who led a smudging ceremony. To Christa Polley of Hanson’s Funeral Home. While impossible to recognize all who have sent their well wishes and prayers our way, the outpouring of support from family, friends and neighbors has allowed us to cope and deal with the loss of Andrew. What we keep in memory is ours, unchanged, forever. Thank you to all. Louis, Debra and Jessie Lalonde.
