Shirley Durward Obituary

Shirley Mary Durward (nee Hodgins), born August 1, 1933, in Stittsville, Ontario, died Nov. 21, 2021, surrounded by loving family members. She was predeceased by her daughter, Wenda Durward. She will be fondly remembered by her surviving children, Barry Durward and Jan Warfield as well as her grandchildren, Jeremy, Nia, Aurora and Jaziri as well as family members in Ontario. Shirley was well known as the friendly employee/owner at the Osoyoos Bakery during the 70s and 80s then as a receptionist for Gordon Reinhold, chiropractor, in the 90s. She also spent her time volunteering at the United Church Thrift Store and the Osoyoos Museum. No flowers as per request of Shirley. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Special Olympics .
