Melva Carter Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my mother on November 27, 2020. She passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Kelowna, BC.

I was honoured to be her daughter and privileged to know one of the gentlest and kindest souls. Everyone who knew her will remember her for her love of life, "Bingo" and the love for her daughter as the centre to her being.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Carter in March, 2002.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lori (Fred Stolte); nephews, David (Donna) Ross, Greg (Jane) Ross; nieces, Linda (Bernie) Maggoria and Judy (Iian) Wytock; many great nieces and nephews and friends in Calgary, AB, Kelowna, West Kelowna and Vancouver, BC. She will be forever in our hearts.

Melva's family wish to extend their thanks to Dr. Gerhard Verster and to the staff at Hospice House in Kelowna for their compassionate care.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a Celebration of Melva's Life will be held at a later date.
