The family of Manno Giesbrecht is saddened to announce his sudden passing on March 9, 2023, at 88 years of age. Manno was born to Abe and Aganetha Giesbrecht on July 18, 1934, in Hague, Saskatchewan, into a large family of 14 children.
He loved and enjoyed life to the fullest, with a deep love for his family.
Manno had a great love for cars, and he had many beauties. He was a very proud firefighter. With 35 years on the job, he retired at the age of 60. He also loved hunting and fishing with his friends. He was known for his great hugs, his smile, and his kind and loving heart for all. Everyone that knew Manno cherished his time and friendship.
Manno will be sadly missed by his soul-mate Helen, his daughter Chantal aka Kim (Rick McIlveen), son Darrell; grandchildren Leah, Kristah (Robert), Aaron and Tara (Brian); great grandchildren and great-great granddaughter; his numerous sisters and brothers, and nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Sun Village Clubhouse, Westbank, BC. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Saskatoon, SK will take place at a later date.
