Morris Hoffman

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Morris Hoffman on July 4, 2019 in West Kelowna, BC at the age of 87. Morris was raised in a large family on a farm in Alberta. He was a farmer for most of his life and he also worked at the Co-op for several years. In 1965 Morris married Waltraud and they had 2 children, John and Peggy. In 1972 he married Rose and they had a daughter, Judy. He had 3 grandchildren he adored.

He always enjoyed the outdoors and gardening, but his biggest love was food; mainly ice cream, KFC, Chinese and pastries. He loved sports, especially curling, baseball and broomball. Morris enjoyed social activities and music programs but especially enjoyed visiting with friends. In the later years of his life he loved working with Jazzi at the Superstore gas station.

Morris was predeceased by his wife Rose in 2007. He will be missed by his daughters; Peggy (Gerald) Hennig and Judy (Michael) Leeson, son John Fortoloczky, his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews and his brother Lawrence.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM Wednesday July 10, 2019 at:
Hansons Arbor Funeral Chapel 2541 Churchill Road, West Kelowna, BC.

There will be a reception following the service at the family home.
