Monral “Muggs” Boyd Holmes
June 14, 1943 – November 10, 2018
Muggs’ family would like to share that after a valiant two and a half year battle with cancer, Muggs cast his last line on November 10, 2018.
Muggs’ zest for life was evident in everything he did. He was passionate about all aspects of life. Musically, (he was always shaking his best Elvis), fishing (he always took time to select the luckiest lure), hunting (always kept an eye out for “the big buck”), and sports (cheering on his favorite pro sports team or his grandkids events). This was all done with such contagious enthusiasm you always felt you were a part of it.
Muggs has many friends and adoring fans, but his biggest supporters were his wife of 27 years, Darlene, his children Terrie (Chris), James (Lucie), Ron (Leanne), Jim (Brandee), Leanne (Steve), Ken (Tammy). Along with his 13 grandchildren, admiration and respect also came from Dan, Trish, Lucie, Suzanne and Sienna. Calling the Similkameen Valley home for the past 17 years, Muggs entrusted his care to Interior Health and his family is very grateful for all of their service.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Keremeos Legion on May 19, 2019 at 1 p.m.
