Denis John Anderson passed away peacefully on February 6, 2019 with his loving family by his side at the Village at Smith Creek in West Kelowna, BC. Denis was born in Vancouver, BC to parents Helen and John.
Denis spent his younger years in Alberta. He was a Calgary city police officer in the 60’s and early 70’s, riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was also a Special Constable in Wetaskiwin, AB, helping in the surrounding counties. Later Denis drove truck for the oil fields, was a tour bus driver and a long distance trucker in Canada and the US. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed the quiet life, walks with Sirena and his dog Max and camping.
Denis was predeceased by his Mother Helen, Father John and Step-father Norman. He will be missed by Sirena, his sons; Michael (Linnea), Brian (Chelsea), Ken (Lisa), Jeffory and Cory as well as his Grandchildren.
