Cecelia Rose Diemert (Kramps)
On June 5th, 2019 we lost an amazing woman: Mother, Grandma & Great Grandma.
Survived by her children, sons Greg (Judy), Bruce (Connie), Brian (Marilee) and daughter Cindi (Denis - deceased) and her 12 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-great Grandchild. Predeceased by her loving husband Paul, infant daughter Paulette & son-in-law Denis.
Cecelia was born November 18, 1922 in Oregon. She, along with her parents and 13 siblings moved to Alberta Canada when she was 2. She was a born nurturer who fulfilled her calling in life as the matriarch of the Diemert Family. She was a talented painter and loved to share her pieces with family and friends. In the mid forties she met Paul and they were married on January 12, 1948. In the early years they lived in Manning, AB where they raised their family and she ran a boarding house. Cecelia’s love knew no bounds, as she became “Mom and Grandma” to more than just her biological children and grandchildren. She always had a plate of cookies to make you feel at home. In later years, she retired in Sunny Kelowna and wintered in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Cecelia was a kind soul who lived her life with love, gratitude and great compassion. She was blessed to live a long, vibrant life. She leaves a legacy of a strong family forever connected by her and Paul's love. May she rest peacefully.
We love you Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma xoxo
